It’s a right Royal celebration this half term!

Celebrating the Queen’s 60 year reign on the throne, Kingsway Centre is hosting an array of family focused Jubilee events in the run up to and throughout the half term!
The events include:
30th May – 2nd June: Vintage police exhibition
This unique display includes a 1968 Morris Minor Police Panda car and various uniforms. Come along and take pictures of the exhibition and find out more about the history of the police force from the enthusiasts.
30th May – 2nd June: DVD screening of the Queen’s Coronation
Courtesy of Perfect Home and Mountain View, a film of the Queen’s Coronation will be screened in Boswells Café on a 47” screen several times each day.
31st May: Malpas Church School choir and country dancers
Bringing with them their wonderful vocals and expert dance skills, the school children will give two memorable performances.
Saturday 2nd June: Giant card workshop & face painting
We’re creating a giant card to send to the Queen! Come along and add your own creative touch and a personal message to the card before it’s posted off to the lady herself in time for the Jubilee on Tuesday 5th June. A face painter will also be on hand; become any animal you fancy or simply get a festive flag!
Tuesday 5th June: Live screening of the Jubilee
On the Queen’s Jubilee, 5th June, Perfect Homes will be offering customers a comfy seat and a big screen to watch the ‘Service of Thanksgiving’ and ‘Carriage Procession’.
Friday 8th June – Saturday 9th: Techniquest road show
Get ready to have some fun with science! Techniquest returns to the Centre with an exciting two-day event. The interactive table top exhibits include the 'Clucking Buckets', a 'Human Circuit' and 'Topology Ropes'. Plus, take the fun home with a FREE 'Little box of tricks' activity booklet.
Saturday 9th June: Giant games & face painting
Back by popular demand and toping it all off before back to school, our giant games and face painter returns to the Centre. Bring the kids and try your luck at snakes & ladders or take on an opponent in giant chess!
It’s a Royal engagement not to be missed, so come on down and join in the celebrations!

The Mediterranean market is back!

From Wednesday 16th May – Saturday 19th May, the Mediterranean food market will be back at Kingsway Centre. Set up in Bridge Square, the market will sell an array of delicious food including: olives, Turkish delight, baklava, nuts, dried fruit, sun-dried tomatoes, virgin olive oil, fudge, liquorice, crackers, peppers, confectionery and lots more!
